Business Education
The Business Education department offers a variety of subjects throughout Years 8-12. These subjects have been carefully developed to not only ensure students are learning the skills and techniques required in order to work within the business industry, but to also teach them skills they can use in their every day life. Some of these skills include wordprocessing, spreadsheeting, PowerPoint, records management, tourism practices and rights and responsibilities with regard to the law.
Within the Middle School, Business Education falls within two Key Learning Areas – Technology and SOSE.

Senior subjects offered by the department are as follows:
Senior Authority Subjects:
- Accounting
- Business Communication and Technologies (A Certificate II in Business is embedded within this subject)
- Legal Studies
Vocational Education subjects offered within the Senior School also enable students the opportunity to achieve a Certificate II in the following nationally recognised qualifications:
- Certificate II in Business
- Certificate II in Tourism (Operations)
