Parents & Citizens' Association
The Parents and Citizens' Association of Wynnum State High School meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Resource Centre.
The Annual General Meeting is held on the third Wednesday in February at 7:00pm in the Resource Centre each year.
All parents of students are invited to attend so that they can become vital and active participants of the school's decision-making processes. Interested members of the community, as well as teachers and past students are also welcome to become members of the P & C Association.
Instrumental Music Parents Support (IMPS), a sub-committee of the Parents and Citizens' Association, meets on the second Monday of each month at 7.30pm in I Block. All interested members of the community are invited to attend. Please note: If an IMPS meeting should fall on a Public Holiday or during the school holidays, please contact the school on 3906 7333 for the date of that month's meeting.
The Tuckshop is owned and operated by the P & C Association and is open each school day from 7:00am until 1:30pm.
A full-time Convenor and two part-time Convenors, together with volunteer parents, provide a variety of healthy, fresh food daily for our students. The Tuckshop is located below the Resource Centre.
Tuckshop Volunteers Needed:
1 day per month (that means 8-10 days per year)
9:00am - 1:00pm
Helping at Tuckshop not only provides the P & C with funds to contribute to school funding, but also gives parents the opportunity to keep in touch with their child's education.
Call the Convenor on 3906 7332 to volunteer today. The Uniform Shop opens each school day from 7:00am - 1:00pm.
The Uniform Shop stocks all items of school uniform and a large variety of stationery. Some second-hand clothing is available. Lay-by is available. Payment for uniforms can be made by CASH or EFTPOS. NO CHEQUES are accepted. The Uniform Shop is owned and managed by the P & C Association and as such all profits are directed back to the school.
The Uniform Shop will be open from 7:30am until 1:00pm, the week before school commences in January to allow parents to equip students for the new school year.
